Creative Writing for everyone

An opportunity to work on your current writing project, in company with other writers.

This session is mostly silent - allowing each writer to concentrate and get their words written, while sharing the time and online space with other writers.

It's a pleasant and productive start to the day.

This is a writers' meeting with a difference!

We will take one or two real author problems submitted IN ADVANCE by group members and dive into them in depth. This could be, for example: a tricky plot point; taming an unruly character; resolving issues of what to include or leave out; whether first or third person POV works best ... There are so many possible issues a writer might face with their work where the group problem-solving approach can really help them out.

We can all contribute to, and learn from, the discussion by applying theory to a real life situation.

If you are currently wrestling with a dilemma in your writing and would like to submit it to the group, please contact me before the session.

This is an opportunity to look inside the editing process.

At the start of the session I will share a writing extract on screen and talk through the changes I would make.

Then there will be a discussion session. This is your chance to ask questions, make alternative suggestions for the edits, talk about the process.
