Creative Writing in English: extra session with a writing exercise

Details
This is an extra session with a special theme: How to draw inspiration from places, people, and things in real life.
WRITING EXERCISE
I'm just back from an inspiration trip in Scotland. You're invited to use one or more of the images in THIS FOLDER as inspiration for either a story pitch (like a blurb on the back of a book) or an actual scene of a longer story, max 300 words.
Upload your submission in Google Doc format HERE. For reviewers: Feel free to add comments or suggestions in the margins of submitted material without making changes in the original text prior to the meeting.
In the meeting, we will pick a selection of the submissions to read out and discuss. Please write your name and refer to the picture in the title.
SHARE EXPERIENCES, TIPS AND TRICKS
We'll also spend some time on learning from each other in terms of how we all deal with that crucial process of ideation. Where do you get your inspiration from? What do you find challenging? How do you turn an idea into a story? Bring questions and/or tips for an engaging discussion.
This session is longer than usual, partly to make up for the regular session I had to cancel on Aug 28 (we'll keep the submissions for the next regular Thursday session, no worries!), but mainly because this might spark a lot of submissions and interesting discussion.
Let's help each other become better writers!
Fiona
