What we’re about
Have you finally started to write that fantastic novel idea you've had for years? Are you an experienced author who likes to discuss your work and help others get to where you already are? Do you want constructive feedback on those poems you keep in your drawer?
Then this is for you: an online creative writing group for writers of all levels (in English). It's an opportunity to share your work, get feedback, and help others get better, too. We share tips and tricks, provide practice cases, and organize fun contests.
Welcome!

We'll dive straight into the constructive feedback of submissions that have been read by members beforehand. Please make sure to upload your work at least 48 hours before the meeting, so we have time to review. This will help in getting even more useful feedback during the session.
The meeting will be split in 2 parts, so we have time to discuss the central writing theme and/or do a fun exercise or assignment.
As always, any suggestions for improvements are welcome.Tonight's agenda:
19:00 CET: Review submitted own work.
You can upload your own work or parts of it if you want constructive feedback from the group. Please upload your piece as a Google Doc (convert Word docs) in this folder. For submissions:
- Try to keep it below appr. 2000 words. For longer formats, please upload your work earlier than 2 days in advance to give participants ample time to read and review on beforehand.
- You can submit whatever you're working on (trigger warnings appreciated if relevant). A section from your novel or non-fiction manuscript, short stories and flash fiction, screenplays, poetry, song lyrics - you name it.
- If there are too many submissions to review during our session, we will select the six first entries, but you can still use the written comments left by members in your document.
For reviewers:
- Read and prepare your feedback prior to the meeting. You can leave written comments in the margins of the document for the author (avoid making changes in the actual document). If you don't want to be biased by other reviewers' comments, choose the viewing mode.
- Please bring your feedback to our meeting.
- Submissions from earlier Meetups are stored in the ARCHIVE if you're interested in earlier work.
+/- 20:30 CET: A central theme to discuss and/or writing exercise or assignment. The theme or exercise for this session will be announced later inside this invitation.
Let's help each other become better writers!
