AGENDA

6:00 pm: Open & Networking

6:30 pm: Welcome Announcements

6:40 pm: Mobile Augmented Reality (Android & iOS) in 2025 by Suyash Joshi
In this talk we will compare and contrast popular tools and frameworks to rapidly create mobile AR (iOS, Android) applications & games. Example projects will cover Unity, WebXR and Kotlin & Switft programming enviornments.

7:20 pm: Physical Computing and Playful Experiences by Chenkun Nie
This project explores Body Ownership Illusion, Human Computer Interaction and playful experiences. It’s a motion control system that projects the user’s walking movements onto MoonBeest’s movements. Slowly turning into an extension and a representation of the user, as they learn, adjust and adapt to it.

8:00 pm: Linea Viva – Drawing as Sound by Federica Ciotti
Linea Viva is a live performance where a single continuous line becomes both drawing and sound. Through sensors and an interactive system, the drawing surface itself becomes an instrument. Rule-based yet unpredictable, the line closes into a loop - a score written and performed in real time.

8:40 : Wrap up & Close

Speakers:

Chenkun Nie is a hybrid artist often experimenting with technology, engineering and a blend of digital and physical production skills. About to finish an MA at Goldsmiths and has a BA from LCF. Deeply interested in different ways of making and manufacturing.

Federica Ciotti is a London-based artist who recently completed an MA in Computational Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London. With an earlier MA in Semiotics and a career in graphic facilitation, her practice explores how drawing can extend beyond representation into sonic forms, working with sensors and live systems to transform hand-drawn gestures into time-based experiences.

Suyash Joshi is your host, creative technologist and experienced full stack engineer. He obtained Masters at Goldsmiths and Bachelors at University of Michigan and currently works at InfluxData.
