A Sento-Inspired Tile Painting Workshop

Sento are interesting spaces.
They break the normal flow of human interaction—skipping all the in-between to jump from pre-knowing to ultimate intimacy. Strangers undress beside each other, sharing space in silence, warmth, and mutual presence.

In this sento-inspired co-creation workshop, we’ll explore that same quiet connection—through tiles. Instead of painting multiple tiles individually, participants will paint in a sequence, each one continuing or responding to what the previous person has created. Then we will piece together the “shared” tiles to create a small mural.
There is no fixed number of rounds—we will continue until the group collectively feels the work is “complete.”
Creators’ Club is a project co-hosted by Owlpaca Studio and Jinny Street Gallery, with the aim of making creativity accessible to all. Participants can choose to take their artwork home or to leave with us to be featured in a group show at the gallery.

-Ticket Price: 3000 jpy, includes workshop participation costs, all drawing and creation materials, and a limited edition Jinny Lemon Sour.

-Theme: Get creative with Sento tiles and paint!

-Materials: all the materials will be ready at the venue.

■Workshop Contents
This event is part of the Creators' Club, a series of workshops hosted by Jinny Street Gallery and Owlpaca Studio. The workshops explore different themes designed to connect participants with the gallery's monthly artworks, offering a safe and inspiring space for creative expression.

Owlpaca Studio Staff will be providing guidance, hands-on support at the workshop and all the drawing materials. You’ll be encouraged to experiment with different materials and creative approaches.

■From the workshop to Gallery!
The participants' artworks will have the chance to be included in a group exhibition at the Jinny Street Gallery at the end of the workshop series.

Jinny Street Gallery is a contemporary gallery located in the Jingumae 2-chome shopping area in Shibuya, an area perfect for a leisurely stroll. The gallery utilizes streetlamp display cases to showcase its art, and its main concept is exploring art while walking through the neighborhood.

Owlpaca Studio, a creative event organizer and community of artists and art enthusiast, will be providing guidance and hands-on support at the workshop.
