☕📖 Mini-Zine Workshop: Imagining Our Ideal Neighborhood
Join us for on the cozy Sunday morning for a zine-making workshop where we’ll explore the idea of neighborhoods—real or imagined—through playful, handmade zines. You’ll learn how to fold either a zigzag mini book or a 1-page zine from A4 paper, and fill it with your own drawings, stories, writings or collages inspired by what your ideal neighborhood might look like.

We’re excited to welcome guest artist Kittyzilla, who is currently exhibiting illustrations of Jingu-2-chome storefronts and sharing the stories of local shops that have been around for decades at Jinny Street Gallery. Her work will set the perfect mood for thinking about communities, places, and memories that make a neighborhood come alive.
There will be freshly brewed coffee at the venue to fuel your creativity.

■Workshop Contents
This event is part of the Creators' Club, a series of workshops hosted by Jinny Street Gallery and Owlpaca Studio. The workshops explore different themes designed to connect participants with the gallery's monthly artworks, offering a safe and inspiring space for creative expression.

Owlpaca Studio Staff will be providing guidance, hands-on support at the workshop and all the drawing materials. You’ll be encouraged to experiment with different materials and creative approaches.

■From the workshop to Gallery!
The participants' artworks will have the chance to be included in a group exhibition at the Jinny Street Gallery at the end of the workshop series.

Jinny Street Gallery is a contemporary gallery located in the Jingumae 2-chome shopping area in Shibuya, an area perfect for a leisurely stroll. The gallery utilizes streetlamp display cases to showcase its art, and its main concept is exploring art while walking through the neighborhood.

◾️Who is Owlpaca Studio:
Owlpaca Studio, a creative event organizer and community of artists and art enthusiast, will be providing guidance and hands-on support at the workshop.
