87: Creatives Getting Coffee - Try out Creative Writing & Meet new friends!

Hello friends!!

In this workshop we’ll tap into some creative writing, focusing on a different approach to make it fun while sharing our creative energy together. All type of writing is welcome, and no prior experience needed! The workshop will be led by Brazilian film director and actor Gustavo!

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

• A story based game to help us get to know each other a bit and easy ourselves into the writing session.
• The writing session, we’ll share the table in silence and only focus on writing for 30 minutes.
• Open reading session, you’ll get to share a piece of your writing with the group.
• Creative hangout, we'll hang around after the workshop and chat.
• Please bring pen & paper/laptop to write on

There will be free brewed coffee served at the workshop as well as fika!

Come and hangout with other like-minded creatives and artists for coffee and a good time this time in the cool and trendy House Blivande, creative hotspot for artists in Stockholm. It's time we turn Netflix off and go meet people, make friends and get inspired to pursue life!

What makes our meetup special?
There are plenty of social events out there connected to drinking and socializing, but what's the common denominator?

Our meetup is aimed towards a specific target group: people with creative or artistic interests. If you're the kind of person to watch Lost In Translation and fantasise about being a lost middle-aged man or young woman alone in Tokyo and think: "Dang, I wish that was me!" then this is the meetup for you!

🎨 This is an event for people with creative interests such as music, art, writing and so on to hang out and have a good time.

🙋‍♂️Why join us? We strive to have a very active community and therefore arrange meetups every week. At CGC we want to create long-lasting friendships.

🫶To keep ‘Creatives Getting Coffee’ running smoothly and cover basic costs like the venue and Meetup fees, for this event we will charge 40SEK. We hope this feels like a good deal, coffee included this time! You can pay on arrival, either through Swish or in cash—whatever works best for you. Please know that this isn’t for profit—we’re just covering expenses to make sure we can continue meeting up.
