98: Creatives Getting Coffee - Jog & Snap

Remember that scene from Yes Man where Zooey Deschanel hosts a jogging photography club—jog a bit, stop, take a photo?

We’re doing that. And you're invited.

Ever wanted to combine cardio with creativity? Join us for a light jog… with frequent photo stops!

Inspired by Yes Man's delightfully oddball "Jogging Photography Club," this will be perfect for anyone who wants to:

✨ Move their body
✨ Notice the weird and wonderful in everyday life
✨ Snap spontaneous, artsy, funny, or just plain random photos
✨ Meet likeminded, laid-back creatives

How it works:

We’ll set out on a gentle jog (no pressure—think “more jog than run”) from Rålambshovsparken, pass through Riddarholmen, and end at Slussen. Along the way, we’ll stop to take photos of anything that catches our eye—street art, shadows, dogs in sunglasses, odd signs, beautiful views, who knows.

No running or photography experience needed—this is all about having fun, getting outside, and capturing the moment.

What to bring:

• Comfy clothes & shoes for light jogging
• Phone or camera
• Water
• Your artsy/awkward self

Details:
📍 Start location: Rålambshovsparken (near Smedsuddsvägen 6)
📏 Distance: Around 3.5 km total, with lots of stops
🏃 Pace: Casual (walkers welcome too!)
⏰ Duration: ~1-2 hours.
🍻 After: Optional drink or fika near Slussen—come hang out!
💸 Cost: 40 SEK per person (cash or Swish on arrival)

What makes our meetup special?
There are plenty of social events out there connected to drinking and socializing, but what's the common denominator?

Our meetup is aimed towards a specific target group: people with creative or artistic interests. If you're the kind of person to watch Lost In Translation and fantasise about being a lost middle-aged man or young woman alone in Tokyo and think: "Dang, I wish that was me!" then this is the meetup for you!

🎨 This is an event for people with creative interests such as music, art, writing and so on to hang out and have a good time.

🙋‍♂️Why join us? We strive to have a very active community and therefore arrange meetups every week. At CGC we want to create long-lasting friendships.

You can pay on arrival, either through Swish or in cash—whatever works best for you. Please know that this isn’t for profit—we’re just covering expenses to make sure we can continue meeting up.
