Creative Support Group for Artists in Hiding
Details
Creativity Hoarders Anonymous (CHAnon) is bringing its peer-led creative support model to Little Village! Join us for eight weeks of exploring creativity, sharing stories, making things, and connecting with other creatives in a welcoming, non-judgmental space.
What to expect:
- Guided conversations about creativity, identity, storytelling, and the things that sometimes keep us from creating.
- Creative exercises that invite you to experiment, reflect, and try something new.
- Dedicated making time to work on your own projects or start something from scratch.
- Optional sharing to practice letting yourself and your work be seen—without pressure, critique, or judgment.
All creative disciplines and experience levels are welcome. Whether you're a longtime artist, a curious beginner, or someone finding your way back to creativity, there's a place for you here.
Basic art supplies will be provided, and you're welcome to bring your own materials or an existing project to work on.
### The Hidden Gems Showcase
We'll conclude the series with an opportunity to celebrate and showcase the hidden gems of Little Village: the art, stories, talents, and creative people that make our neighborhood special. Participants will have the opportunity to share their work and help shine a light on the creativity already thriving in our community.
Facilitated by Dani Moon, a Chicago native and self-taught multidisciplinary creator whose work explores resilience, identity, and creative expression.
Come as you are. Bring what you're working on—or just yourself. No artistic experience required.
