About us

Creativity Lab Ukulele Ensemble is a welcoming Vienna community for people who want to make music together — with absolutely no previous musical or ukulele experience required. You can join even if you’ve only picked up a ukulele for the very first time that day.

We meet to play, learn, explore songs and rhythm, and experience the joy of making music together in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere. Experienced players are equally welcome. Our community is international and multilingual, with support in German, English and Turkish.

Bring your ukulele, your curiosity, and come play with us.

Ukulele Ensemble Open House

Sat, Oct 10 · 2:00 PM CEST

Creativity Lab, Hackhofergasse 1, 1190 Vienna, Vienna, AT

Come play, connect, and experience what it feels like to make music together.

Our free Ukulele Ensemble Open House welcomes complete beginners and experienced players alike. No previous musical or ukulele experience is needed — you can join even if this is the first day you’ve ever held a ukulele.

We’ll play songs, explore rhythm, listen, experiment, and make music together in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere. The session runs 14:00–16:30, with two 15-minute breaks.

This is a trilingual ensemble in German, English and Turkish. Uygar moves naturally between the three languages depending on who is in the room — but ultimately, the language we share is music.

Please bring your own ukulele. We have one extra instrument available to borrow; if you need it, please let us know when registering. Our dog Cancan will also be with us, in case you have allergies or are not comfortable around dogs.

The Open House is also Session 1 of our five-session Ukulele Ensemble series. There is no obligation to continue — if you enjoy it and decide to join, this simply becomes your first session.

Registration is required as space is limited. A Meetup RSVP alone does not reserve your place. Please register here:
