Come play, connect, and experience what it feels like to make music together.
Our free Ukulele Ensemble Open House welcomes complete beginners and experienced players alike. No previous musical or ukulele experience is needed — you can join even if this is the first day you’ve ever held a ukulele.
We’ll play songs, explore rhythm, listen, experiment, and make music together in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere. The session runs 14:00–16:30, with two 15-minute breaks.
This is a trilingual ensemble in German, English and Turkish. Uygar moves naturally between the three languages depending on who is in the room — but ultimately, the language we share is music.
Please bring your own ukulele. We have one extra instrument available to borrow; if you need it, please let us know when registering. Our dog Cancan will also be with us, in case you have allergies or are not comfortable around dogs.
The Open House is also Session 1 of our five-session Ukulele Ensemble series. There is no obligation to continue — if you enjoy it and decide to join, this simply becomes your first session.
