What we’re about

Interdisciplinary workshops for unblocking expression.

In the Labs we explore improvisation, writing, and sound-play as tools for unblocking expression and reconnecting with creative process.

We use the idea of bluffing, not as deception, but as a creative strategy: pretending, testing, and moving forward without needing certainty or polish. Through structured prompts and playful constraints, participants are invited to loosen habits, bypass overthinking, and access new ways of making and collaborating.

Sessions are process-driven and inclusive, with an emphasis on presence, listening, curiosity, and creative risk-taking in a supportive group environment.

Bluff Lab workshop and jams are part of The Bluff Education Hour, an ongoing platform for creative experimentation, education, and performance formats, including the improvised radio plays of Windy Bluffs. More info at www.bluffeducation.org.

Who it’s for

Creatives and “non-creatives,” students, professionals, performers, musicians, and anyone curious about creative process. Open to all levels and backgrounds.
