What we’re about
Hello! I’m a creative who’s interested in bringing people together through making and conversation. I’m inviting you to a relaxed, small-group meet-up (up to eight people), where we’ll use simple sewing, embroidery, or appliqué to upcycle a piece of clothing. It’s a chance to slow down, reflect on our habits, and explore how small creative acts can improve our well-being . Feel free to bring—or create—sketches, ideas, personal reflections or poems on creativity, sustainability and connection. I’ll also share some background info to help guide your thinking. Please bring a garment to work on and any materials you’d like to share with others. I’ll provide threads, needles, scissors, buttons and tea, and biscuits to keep us going. Parts of the session may be recorded for a future sound-based project on creativity, sustainability, and connection. Participation is completely optional.
