THE ANNUAL TRADITION RETURNS, even though it's now hosted on Meetup!
The YouTube Hanami began a long time ago by TokyoCooney and has continued unabated since, with creative people of all backgrounds descending on Tokyo's Yoyogi Park for an afternoon of friendship, drinks, cherry blossoms, and creative networking!
The community, however, is different these days!
We are no longer strictly "YouTubers" anymore. I myself am not just a YouTuber, I am mostly a photographer these days! But that's the point of this event. I want to get as many awesome people together in one day as possible!
This year, our Hanami as well as subsequent events hosted by CAT is sponsored by Mixed Up Cocktail! Real juice, Real Booze, 10% in a can! For a ¥500 ticket, enjoy one of the finest alcoholic beverages available on this planet!
2026 Creators Hanami Details:
- Date: Saturday April 4 2026 (in case of rain, April 5 or April 11)
- Time: from 11 til sundown.
- GROUP PHOTO TAKEN AROUND 3pm!
- Setup is around 6am, Anyone who wants to help me set up the tarps please come by Yoyoygi as early as you can! You will be treated to breakfast and tea!
- What to bring: YOURSELF, no matter your background! Your friends, snacks, lunch, cameras, water, and tea!
- Drinks: Mixed Up Cocktail available for a ¥500 drink ticket!
- NOTES: This is not a child-friendly event. Photos, videos, and livestreams are going to be taken during this event! Participation in the event means you consent to being imaged.
- Please be on your best behavior!
People fly in to Japan just to go to Hanami as well! That's how big this event is.
