Creatures of Victory: Towson Board Game Group

Horrified: World of Monsters is a standalone game that features gameplay similar to 2019's Horrified, and in this co-operative game, you'll face off against the riddling Sphinx, the reclusive Yeti, the ravenous Jiangshi, and the Great Old One itself, Cthulhu. Each monster presents a unique challenge, and you can face them individually or in combination, with players pooling their unique skills to overcome puzzle-like obstacles inspired by monstrous legends and lore to gather item tokens, protect citizens, and avoid attacks.

Last time this was played there was trucking, off shore banking, golden containers, personal loans. But we forgot the most important thing, it’s all about the containers. Let’s try again, but without the expansions to see how different this game can be.

Set prices as you produce, sell, and ship containers in a tight economic simulation.

Every decision you make in Container shapes the market. During play, you build factories, produce containers, set prices, negotiate with your rivals, sail across the sea to trade, and (obviously) buy low, and sell high. At least that's the goal — but can you make it happen?

The rules for Container are simple; the real challenge is understanding and timing the market. Players build machines, warehouses, and containers, then sail your containers to the island and auction them off. Be careful with your money — in the closed economy, money's tight and your opponents are cutthroat!

At the beginning of the game, container value cards are secretly dealt to all players. Because these values aren’t shown, you’ll have to suss out what your opponents are going for throughout the game! But at final scoring, these come into play. The player with the most money wins.

Hey gang! I created this space as a catch-all for anyone that wanted to come on Tuesday but couldn't get a seat at one of the games. I'll bring a handful of small-ish games, so there will be space for anyone who wants to play!
