August Guided Hike - Woodcliff to Kreag Rd Park

We will meet at 1:30pm on Sunday, August 10 at the Kreag Rd. Park parking lot (555 Kreag Rd, GPS: 43.06409,-77.46940).

A Perinton Town bus will transport hikers to Woodcliff and we will hike from Woodcliff back to Kreag Rd. on the orange trail. We are grateful to the town for the use of the bus. This allows us to do a point to point hike on some great sections of the Crescent Trail.

Depending on the turnout, we may need two trips from Kreag Rd to Woodcliff, so please be prompt and arrive a bit early if possible. We may need to split the group into two.

The hike is a hilly 3 mile route, the first section from Woodcliff to Garnsey Rd is mostly downhill, the section from Garnsey to Kreag Rd has lots of ups and downs. Difficulty is medium.

After the hike, some of us will be stopping at Aurora Brewing.

Recommended Gear:

• Water Bottle
• Bug Spray, sunscreen/rain gear (weather dependent)
• Appropriate apparel and footwear.
• Hiking Poles could be helpful on this route
