Vaisala: Weather Solutions for the Renewable Energy Industry and Beyond

While many of realize the importance of weather for renewable energy, the sun needs to shine and the wind needs to blow, right? Behind these simple notions, the science and art of weather forecasting, metrology, and instruments play a critical role in renewable energy siting, optimizing operations, and forecasting for reliable grid management. Join us for a fun networking event and tour at Vaisala’s US headquarters in Louisville to learn more about the role measuring and forecasting the weather plays in optimizing renewable energy plant production and managing renewables both at the local and regional level.

The event will start off with networking with snacks and beverages at 6 pm, followed by a short overview of Vaisala and how advanced weather solutions help manage renewable energy production, a tour of Vaisala’s instrument garden to see the technology in action, and then wrap up with more networking.

The event will be at Vaisala's campus at 152 South Taylor Ave, Louisville, CO 80027. We will be in the north building closest to the instrument garden.
