True Crime Discussions: Coincidence, or murder?

In 1996, elderly couple Howard and Bea Ainsworth were found dead in their bedroom in Cheshire. Police concluded that Howard had murdered his wife before taking his own life. Three years later, just a few streets away, Donald and Auriel Ward were also found dead in their bedroom. Once again, the conclusion was murder-suicide.

But the similarities between the two scenes have since raised questions. Could both couples have been victims of the same killer?
