Dear (Critical) Mass Timber Meetup Group,
We are very excited to announce that as part of Sustainable Building Week, TDI will be hosting two events in Portland, OR: (1) This meetup at PAE's living building, and (2) Our annual mass timber research symposium at the Evergreen on the eastside. For more info about the research symposium and registration, click here.
Intersections: Mass Timber & the Living Building Challenge:
Please join us on Tuesday, October 10th, to learn about and discuss both the opportunities and challenges posed by using mass timber, and wood generally speaking, through the context of the Living Building Challenge, as well as more broadly through other green building certifications. The conversation will be kicked off and moderated by Hadley Carlberg, a recent UO Architecture graduate who completed a summer internship with TDI focusing on the topic, and we will be joined by an amazing panel of experts, including:
Karen Joslin (PAE)
Jacob Dunn (ZGF)
Andrew Loia (FFA)
Alese Ashuckian (Smartlam)
