The Socratic method

In this session we will discuss how the socratic method can help us to become better critical thinkers.

We will specifically be talking about the first 5 minutes of this video:

We will be covering:
1. definitions
2. assumptions
3. biases

And if we have enough time, logical fallacies.

At the end of the session we should be able to view such films through a critical lens.

13:05 - begin our discussion
14:45 - reflection and close

This will NOT be a lecture, but a collaborative experience where we discuss the common pitfalls we all fall into during discussions or when we see something on media.
