Practice critical thinking!

Details
The meeting will be held online and consists of 5 sections :
Introductions (5mn), choose the discussion topic (15mn), debate (60mn), mutual feedback (10mn) and feedback on the meeting (5mn).
The length of each section may vary, but let's try to keep the debate at least 60mn long. After all it's the main course of this event!
We'll use the online platform Jitsi: https://meet.jit.si/moderated/0dbf2b550b1c572cb5c2843f5d373fc62266937fd0e62a4a6a491b02b44c20b8
Note that I've never used it before; if it doesn't work I'll write in the comment section.
This event will follow the usual structure:
17h00 - 17h05: Introductions: Each participant briefly introduce themselves.
17h05 - 17h15: We vote on what we will do for the main event:
- Debate: we choose a subject, then participants are assigned a side at random, then we have 10 minutes to prepare our argumentation, then each side defend their hypothesis.
- Defense: one participant gives a presentation and the other participants challenge them at the end. The presentation can be less than a 1 minute and up to 30 minutes.
- Video commenting: we watch an argumentative video and analyze the arguments given. We do not take sides, we only analyze the arguments.
- Something else? We are open to new suggestions so long as it is compatible with critical thinking.
17h15 - 18h15: Debate, defense or video commenting.
18h15 - 18h25: After the debate we give mutual feedback on the style and content of the arguments. Were the arguments rational, logical, emotional, ...? Was the delivery adequate and convincing?
18h25 - 18h30: Finally we give feedback about the meeting in general: what we liked, what we can improve, what we should add or remove, ... We are open to criticism and willing to improve the meetings!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
