Halloween Double Feature! Bride of Frankenstein and Gods and Monsters

Details

Widely considered the best of the Frankenstein genre, the 1935 Bride of Frankenstein, directed by James Whale, is way more than your standard hair raiser. At once a sequel to the 1931 Frankenstein, it explores existential issues in Mary Shelley's novel with a cast of Mrs. Charles Laughton in a double role, and a very early Walter Brennan and John Carradine as peasants!
Then chase it down with the Academy Award winning, Gods and Monsters, which gets behind the scenes into the making of the movie and the private life of the The Bride's director.
