September 28th – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
The event will happen in the Prairie Sage room of the Senior Center. There will be speakers in the Twinberry Auditorium during the event. This is an event which encourages middle aged and older adults to explore life enrichment opportunities in the community. These opportunities promote enhanced community engagement and improve social well-being in adults through different hobby groups, interest groups, volunteerism, social opportunities, and a variety of activity groups.
Our registration includes a 6-foot booth, 2 chairs, and snacks/lunch for up to 2 booth operators. The goal is to provide the potential to better a community member’s life through participation and social interaction. Hobbies continue to provide purpose in an individual’s life creating better quality of life through reduced stress, improved physical health, and social connections.
This is an opportunity to show off our craft with WIP’s and finished items we can display. This is not a sale.

Set up begins at 9:00 am. If you’re able to help with set up, please be on time. Kathy and Cathy will be there all day, but if you’re interested in manning the booth for a short period of time, please let us know. Also, we need finished items to display during the event. If you have anything you’d like to show off, please have it there by 9:00. If you aren’t able to get there, please message us and we’ll see if we can’t find someone to pick it up from you. If you plan on manning the booth, please wear something you've made if you're able.
