What we’re about
Crones Community is a social group for progressive women ages 50+. We welcome all oldish women with open minds and hearts. If you're a crone, or close enough, come share, laugh, move persistently onward toward wisdom and sometimes the best folly.
Most events will be announced well in advance, but some will be posted much more spontaneously. There is no expectation regarding attendance. Simply join us whenever your interest is piqued and your schedule allows. Many of us are new to Eugene and appreciate the gatherings of the crones.
What do you like to do?
We want this group to be inclusive, one in which all are seen and heard and belong. We welcome you to invite us crones along with you as you share your journey of wisdom. Please let us know if you'd like to be an event organizer and host events. We'll happily add you as an event organizer and show you how to post the details here at Meetup for the events you'll host.
The Crones Community is open and free to all crones.
If you choose to help support the group with $10/year, you will have access to our Crones Community group with the Signal messaging app. This allows Crones to message any last minute events and gives pre-notification for any events that are coming up.
Please be advised: This group has a strict no solicitation policy. Membership in the group for solicitation purposes is strictly prohibited. Members who market goods and/or services to other members, whether online via this Meetup group or in-person during events, will be removed from the group.
