A “Cronie” is a close friend, a companion.
This Meetup is for Elder Independent Women, especially those of us who no longer have family or close friends who don’t live nearby or have passed away. We all have interesting life experiences that should continue to be shared and celebrated with true friends of similar age. We are women who are independent, accomplished, open-minded thinkers who NEED to express ourselves with like-minded friends but either haven’t found them lately or lost them over the years.
I’m looking for women who enjoy stimulating conversation, women who have something to say, artists writers, poets, entrepreneurs, teachers, musicians. to share some time together, to support each other in intelligent conversations with an on-going meetup.
Let’s talk about how we got to where we are today, share stories and start to write them down. The exchanging of stories isn't just fun or desirable, it's something essential to our well being.It's where we go to say to each other, this is how it feels to me, does it feel that way to you too? Can you understand at all what I'm saying?
The group will be limited in numbers to give us the opportunity to establish new friendships, friendships that will support each other and can be relied on.

Crone is…the power, passion, and purpose of ancient female wisdom…the crowning triple phase of the ancient Triple Goddess: Maiden/Mother/Crone. Joyous, outrageous, real, and at ease, living from the inside out. The Crone’s title was related to the word crown and she represented the power of the ancient tribal matriarch who made the moral and legal decisions for her subjects and descendants.
About Me:
My background is primarily in Art, mostly mixed media, as well as creating websites and graphics for my VO business. I love writing, mostly poetry; trying to get ready to publish. I’ve been a Voice Over Performer for over 35 years and have been teaching Voice Over and Voice Image classes for many years in LA and now in Phoenix. I’ve had many other “careers” in my lifetime including heading the Tours at Johnson Wax, running a 236 room hotel, and assistant editor to a small newspaper.
