Nature and Mystery School for the Whole Family

Details

The theme of this meetup will be Charcoal Art Drawing & The World Tree. It will include making charcoal tree drawings, taking a walk around the sanctuary, reading a story from D’aulaires’ Book of Norse Myths, and singing a song called The Brave Old Oak by Thomas Larkin from his book, Folk-Songs of the Upper Thames (London 1923).

Each meetup intertwines teachings of The Mysteries with songs, arts and crafts, nature walks, games, and stories. We use myths from all different indigenous and religious traditions, focusing on the thread of the ancient mysteries which runs through all.

Each meetup is meant to be a standalone lesson, so that you can come whenever you are able and fully appreciate it. 🗝️

There is a suggested donation of $25, however all are welcome. Even if you do not have children and are a "child at heart", you are very welcome to join in. We do request a donation of at least $5 per person to help cover the costs of materials.
