Artificial intelligence is becoming part of more and more human interactions—but can it actually help us communicate better across political differences?
Join Crossing Party Lines for a practical, collaborative conversation about the opportunities and risks of using AI in political dialogue and bridge-building.
We’ll explore questions such as:

  • Can AI help people understand one another—or only create the appearance of understanding?
  • Could AI eventually do some of the work organizations like Crossing Party Lines do now?
  • What might be gained or lost when we talk about politics with an AI rather than another person?
  • Where could AI genuinely support better listening, curiosity, and connection?
  • If CPL could create new AI-powered tools, what would you want them to help people do?

No technical background is needed. We welcome longtime CPL members, people working in bridge-building and depolarization, technologists, AI enthusiasts, skeptics, and anyone curious about the future of human conversation.
During the final part of the event, we’ll share a few early ideas and experiments CPL has been developing. Participants will have an opportunity to respond, offer suggestions, and learn how they can help shape what comes next.
Come ready to question, imagine, and collaborate.
