Trump Administration: Year One Review — What Stands Out as Positive?
Details
As the current administration reaches its one-year mark, many Americans have strong, mixed, or evolving opinions about its decisions, priorities, and outcomes. Some see promising progress in certain areas, while others feel unsure or dissatisfied. In this conversation, we’ll take time to reflect on what we believe the administration has handled well so far — and where we still have questions, concerns, or hopes for improvement.
We’ll focus first on identifying actions or impacts we see as beneficial, whether nationally or personally, and then consider areas where we feel differently or would like to see more, less, or better.
We’ll ask questions such as:
- What decisions, actions, or outcomes from this administration do you consider positive?
- In what ways have you experienced or observed those benefits?
- Are there accomplishments or efforts you feel have been overlooked?
- Where do you still have concerns, questions, or hopes for improvement?
- How do you see the intentions and goals of the administration and how those are being implemented?
Instead of trying to reach agreement, we’ll use this milestone as a chance to step back, compare experiences, and listen to how others are evaluating the past year — noticing where our views overlap and where they diverge.
Please do your best to arrive at the beginning of the meeting – once we are in breakout rooms and the conversations have started, the meeting doors close to new arrivals. The breakout rooms open (and the doors close) approximately 15 minutes after the hour.
