Saturday Afternoon Partisan Spear Class @ Crossroads Swords!

Please join us for a recurring weekly Bolognese Partisan Spear class on Saturdays at Crossroads Swords!

Ever wondered what it’s like to fight with a massive two-handed spear? The partisan was a battlefield weapon of the Bolognese tradition, known for its reach, precision, and versatility. In this class, you’ll learn how to wield it effectively—balancing powerful thrusts with sweeping cuts, and discovering how distance, timing, and control turn size into an advantage.

The class will run from 4pm-5pm, and be followed by an open floor fencing session from 5pm-7pm

Recommended gear: comfortable athletic attire and shoes, and athletic groin protector. If you happen to have a fencing mask or other fencing gear, that's great too!

Any kind of one-handed sword is suitable. Loaner equipment will be available.
