Al Wilkinson Presents: Created to Create

Details

Are you wrestling with "Why am I here?" or "What am I doing with my life?" Ok, we are probably not going to answer that for you in a single meetup. Instead, we are going to talk about why FaithTech KC is here and what we are going to do with the group. More specifically, we are going to talk about *creating*.

FaithTech is focused on people over products with a calling to be more than just a community that gathers and talks about making a difference. FaithTech is interested in building communities that actively make a difference. So what does that look like? Al Wilkinson, is going to cast a vision for what we think that can look like in KC and how *you* can be a part.

We have been creating a community where it is normal to talk about the intersection of faith and technology. From that community we believe we can create opportunities to come alongside others to understand problems and be part of creating solutions. And that doesn't always mean writing code or creating a new product. We will dive into the idea of building Redemptive Technology and the 4D Cycle for understanding problems and creating solutions that are presented in the FaithTech Playbook. We will talk about how to apply this to projects we are already working on and to our day jobs, as well as discuss how our community can engage in Create projects.
