Crowd Analyzer 2nd Engineering Meetup

Details
In the 2nd installment of Crowd Analyzer’s Engineering Meetup, Crowd Analyzer’s engineers will cover important issues in microservices architecture as well as optimizing millions of API calls every day and how to improve your productivity as a developer with an understanding of how to use workflow tools and automating your daily tasks.
Don’t forget to register via the URL. Seats are limited so we encourage you to take the time to register because we will be sending out confirmation emails to people selected three days prior to the event.

NOTE: Registration ends on September 19th, 2019. So Hurry up!
The Agenda:
Fault Tolerance in Microservices Architecture
In this second episode of Microservices Architecture at Crowd Analyzer, we will cover the algorithms and patterns that we have used to ensure a reliable distributed micro services architecture. We will cover jest randomness, idempotency, circuit breaker. bulk head patterns among others.
Optimizing HTTP API Calls
In Crowd Analyzer, we do more than one million API call per day. We have learned a great deal optimizing these calls. In this session, we cover one interesting dynamic programming algorithm called knapsack that we have used to decrease the number of API calls while also decreasing memory and CPU consumption.
Improving Developer Productivity with Integrated Workflow
A lot of time can be wasted during development, testing & code review. This time can be saved using tooling and automation. In this session, we share our knowledge optimizing our developers workflow using docker, linters, continues integration and automation bots. This session reveals a demo that shows how all of these pieces are being fit together to form a streamlined workflow.
