  1. Bingo Book Club 🎉
In our Bingo Book Club, we pick standalone books from any genre—slice-of-life, thrillers, romance, horror, fantasy, you name it! Each meetup features a fun Bingo twist to keep discussions lively. Perfect for readers who love variety and trying new genres without a big commitment.
  2. Fantasy Series Book Club 🌌
This branch is all about tackling epic fantasy series, one book at a time. Each month, we read the next installment in a series, with no pressure to keep going if it doesn’t hook us. We’re here to enjoy the journey and motivate each other to finally finish those long series together.

Our monthly meetups at the Dog & Bull pub provide the perfect setting to chat about our latest reads over a glass of wine, pints of beer, or your favorite soft drink.
Expand your literary horizons, meet fellow book enthusiasts, and share great conversations in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Let’s talk books and have some fun together! 📖✨

April Fantasy Series: Last Argument of Kings (First Law#3) by Joe Abercrombie

Dog & Bull, 24 Surrey Street, Croydon, GB

Last Argument of Kings (The First Law #3) by Joe Abercrombie
    📖 536 pages
Genre: Fantasy • Grimdark • Epic Fantasy

    Summary:
The end is here—and it won’t be clean.
Last Argument of Kings brings the First Law trilogy to its explosive conclusion. War consumes the North. The Union trembles under siege. Old debts are called in, long-laid plans come to fruition, and the true cost of ambition is finally revealed.
Logen Ninefingers must decide what kind of man he really is. Glokta navigates a crumbling political landscape where survival depends on choosing the right master. Jezal is forced into a role he may not be fit to play. And Bayaz’s grand design—patiently constructed over decades—comes into devastating focus.
Abercrombie delivers a finale that refuses easy answers. Power has a price. Justice is rarely fair. And sometimes the last argument of kings is simply who survives to tell the tale. Expect twists, reckonings, and consequences that linger long after the final page.
