Over the past year, Black women are navigating a difficult season in the workforce. Recent reports show that more than 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined, facing layoffs, stalled opportunities, and increasing pressure to carry both professional and community responsibilities.

Black women have always been the foundation and bridge of our communities—anchors of strength and social justice leaders who manage careers, care for families, and uplift entire communities, even when support is limited.

But being strong all the time comes at a cost.
Burnout. Passion fatigue. Emotional exhaustion.
And for many, the quiet question: Is this still worth it?

The No B.U.R.N.O.U.T. Passion Fatigue Prevention Workshop was created to meet this moment.

This powerful, two-hour experience brings together the insight of Dr. Kristy Taylor, Career & Executive Coach, and the clinical expertise of Dr. LaShaunda Smith, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) and Founder of L.L. Smith Counseling Services, LLC. Together, they bring a unique blend of career strategy and mental wellness support, because sustainable success requires both.

  • Recognize and address the unique challenges faced by Black women in the workplace
  • Learn practical strategies for self-care, resilience, and preventing burnout
  • Build confidence and boundaries in demanding work environments
