What we’re about
In all transparency, this is an experimental group. I have an interest in short travel get always and 3-5 night cruises that are comparable with my busy work and family schedule. I’m hoping this group will connect me with others who want to do the same. I don’t want to wait until I retire to start living out my passion for travel and experiencing new places and things. As a travel/cruise organizer, at times travel vendors will offer “free travel” or “free suite” to an organizer. This is how I keep travel affordable for myself as well. As a group member, if you decide you’d like to also try this, just let me know and I may add you as an event organizer. There’s no competition in collaboration. There will be times some people are available to travel but someone may be available to organize a group.
Who Should Join?
- Married or single and otherwise would need to travel “solo”
- Interested in mostly short outings 2-5 days, or occasional day/regional trips.
- Interested in double occupancy or single occupancy, but part of a group.
- Interested in advantages of “group-rate” travel arrangements and tours.
- No passport needed, but might be helpful for longer trips.
- Be willing to Pay $10/year to help keep the meetup group operational. This may be changed in the future, depending on need.
