A sunset and moon rise cruise to Tipplers. The sunset on the western side will be at 5.01 pm. Moon rise at 6.47 pm at a South, South Easterly bearing of 112 degrees with the moon at 98.2% full. This should be a perfect view from the Eastern side of the Island. These two events do not coincide so nicely all that often.
We meet at 3.00 pm for a 3.30 pm departure. There's complimentary tea coffee and Arnotts cream biscuits on board. We will get to the island at around 4.30 pm. In time to sit and watch the sunset at 5.01 pm. We will then walk across the island to see the moon rise. There is plenty of time to eat (Either from the cafe or bring your own).
Note the Ramada Hotel is the old Marina Quays International Hotel with the boat located in it's old berth out through the foyer of the hotel, onto the deck and look to your left.
Note that the sign on fee is $7 the full fare is $27. The $20 balance can be paid on the day. Please take note of our deposit refund policy when you sign on.
There will be complimentary red and white cask wine available for the journey home.
We will depart the Island at around 8.00 pm to return to the Ramada Hope Harbour by around 9.00 pm
If you have not been to the Ramada Hotel before, please take the time to check the map, it can be a bit hard to find first time.
