Barcelona's creative community spends most of its time staring at screens, chasing deadlines, and scrolling through fonts.

Out of Office is a new series from BHONG pulling designers, strategists, writers, and other assorted creative professionals away from their laptops and into rooms where nobody's an expert. No panels. No portfolios. No talk of clients unless someone brings it up unprompted (and even then, we'll try to change the subject).

For episode one, we're starting with the basics: rice, saffron, and a screeching hot pan.

We've teamed up with Rice to Meet You for a fully hands-on paella class. You'll get guided through building a proper sofrito, working with DO Valencia Albufera rice, and getting the socarrat right at the bottom of the pan. Then the whole group sits down together to eat what they made.

Cocktails will be a courtesy of Batovi Elements, a woman-founded Spanish vodka brand. They just launched their latest product, a Moscow Mule RTD, designed by yours truly. A proper drink in hand while you cook is, frankly, non-negotiable.
