Hardware Security Modules (HSM) are core elements for secure and trustworthy operations on data in transit or at rest. In this talk, Securosys will tell why the Swiss financial center chose to have a novel HSM developed, describe its hard- and software architecture and how it interacts with current and future finance applications from transaction signing in traditional banking to more advanced concepts like hardware wallets for crypto currencies.
