Crypto Ħub Malta – Supabase Meetup-Up

Tonight, Crypto Ħub Malta (CĦM) welcomes Supabase for an evening focused on modern product building, real-world tooling, and the pace of today’s development workflows.

Supabase is known for its bold promise, “Build in a weekend - Scale to millions”. It is a backend-as-a-service platform that lets teams and solo builders spin up production-ready infrastructure in minutes instead of weeks - completely open source.

Rather than only talking about building, we will see products being built live, in real time, showcasing what Supabase enables when speed and simplicity matter.

The evening will be hosted by Tim Brunsmo, who will give a short and practical introduction to Supabase before the focus shifts toward networking, conversations, and following along with the builders as they work.

What is Supabase?
Supabase gives you everything you need to start a product with a solid backend: a Postgres database, authentication, instant APIs, edge functions, real-time subscriptions, storage, and vector embeddings, all working together out of the box.

Ship It in 2 Hours challenge (Start: 19:00)
In the background, a few builders from the Smooth Operators community will take on a light-hearted “Ship It in 2 Hours” challenge. Their goal is to build the most impressive, weirdest, or funniest app using Supabase infrastructure.

If you want to join the challenge, make sure to be on time. If not, you are welcome to relax, observe the builds, network, and vote on the results at the end.
