Bio:
Ben Lakoff, CFA (Please add link to https://x.com/benlakoff), is a General Partner at Bankless Ventures (Please add link to Bankless.ventures), an early-stage Web3 venture fund. Bankless Ventures, backed by prominent investors such as Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon, and various top founders and GPs within the Web3 space, closed its $40M Fund I in June 2023 and is currently preparing for Fund II.

Prior to Bankless Ventures, Ben was a co-founder at Charged Particles, a protocol innovating with NFTs since 2019. As an investor, he has been an active angel investor with over 75 investments since 2016 and is an LP in several funds. Additionally, he advises several companies in the Web3 space and mentors at a few popular Web3 incubators.

We are an educational, monthly meetup that discusses crypto and all things blockchain related. We have a speaker for 15 minutes and the rest of the time we informally dive into the latest news and tech, help one another learn about the varying aspects of this exciting space (beginners are welcome), share our projects, etc.
