Details
This month, we’re diving into one of the most enduring ideas in crypto: the Bitcoin cycle.
Historically, Bitcoin has followed a four-year rhythm tied to the halving — when the block reward is cut in half. While the direct impact of each halving has diminished over time, the cyclical nature of the market remains very real: bear market depression, followed by recovery, and eventually retail-driven euphoria.
In this session, we’ll explore:
- What drove the Bitcoin cycle historically?
- How useful is the halving as a timing signal today?
- How have ETFs and Treasury companies impacted the market?
- Should we still expect brutal bear markets?
- Are we mid-cycle, late-cycle… or entering a new phase entirely?
Whether you're new to crypto or deep in the data, all are welcome. Bring your questions, your thoughts, and your takes.
🍻 We’ll kick off at 6pm at Santa Monica Brew Works - good beer, good vibes, real conversation.
