Startups like LO3 Energy and Power Ledger are redefining concepts around energy transactions by enabling peer-to-peer energy sales and creating new ways to engage the market, while companies like Impact PPA seek to find new ways to fund new generation developments. These two instances represent just a small portion of potential applications and use cases relevant to the energy sector. Many other applications exist in the areas like transmission and distribution, trading, and renewable energy. The following 5 areas impacted by blockchain technology will be discussed:

Walking information for metro riders:

1. Take the Orange, Blue or Silver line to the Rosslyn metro station.
2. At the top of the escalator turn to your left to exit onto Moore St.
3. Turn to your right and walk up the hill approximately one block to Wilson Blvd.
4. Turn left on Wilson and walk approximately one block to Lynn St.
5. 1100 Wilson Blvd is diagonally across the intersection of Wilson and Lynn.
6. Enter the lobby and head forward towards the CVS. On your left you will see an escalator. Take the escalator up to the next floor. Turn to your left and head towards a reception area in front of an elevator bank.
7. Take the elevator up to the 10th floor. Eastern Foundry occupies the entire floor, but enter on the side with the reception desk.
