Title: The double-ratchet algorithm: its security and privacy
properties

Over the last years, we have seen the rise of one algorithm: the
double-ratchet algorithm, as the defacto algorithm to be used on secure
messaging applications. But, what does it make it so compelling? Why is
it very much used? On this talk, we will give an overview of the
double-ratchet algorithm, we will describe which privacy and security
properties it gives, and we will discuss the reasons of why it is so used.

She also leads the design and implementation of the version 4 of the
