Prior to founding Republic in 2016, Kendrick was General Counsel of AngelList, Interim CEO of CoinList, and Vice President and Chief Counsel of The Permal Group. He served as Fellow of Stanford Law School and the Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University and is frequently consulted by the Staff of the US SEC, the US Congress, and the government of Vietnam on issues in the intersection of the private markets, blockchain, and retail participation.
