Bitcoin Wales Social Meetup @ Zerodegrees

It's been a while but we're back with our first Bitcoin Wales Meetup of 2025!

Unfortunately Leadership of the Meetup page changed hands recently but is now back with us. Bitcoin Wales is very much Bitcoin only despite the numerous rounds of short lived 'crypto' trends over the years from ICOs to NFTs to memecoins to altcoins. Our aim is to provide a place for Bitcoiners new and old to meet to discuss and learn about Bitcoin.

However, as one of the oldest Bitcoin Meetup groups in the UK it is time to re-think our future. This is a great opportunity for us to become much more active but to do that we need new blood. We need more nodes and we need to become more decentralised.

Bitcoiners that want to see Wales and its people adopt Bitcoin need to get involved. So much to discuss: Welsh Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, mining with our abundance of natural resources, circular and peer-to-peer economies, education, technical development, projects, events, political lobbying and much more we can influence if we want to.

The opportunities presented by Bitcoin do not come along often and Wales should grab them, so please come along & contribute as Bitcoin Wales is well placed for us to pool our resources.
