CryptoTuesday for Social Good: Special Thursday edition

CryptoTuesday For Social Good is a monthly meetup featuring a speaker or panel comprised of those leveraging blockchain technology to make extraordinary communal advancements in our world. This event is guided towards learning the inspiration behind the project, to learn about the obstacles those behind the project have faced, and the ones they seek to overcome. As a social meetup, following the 30 minute presentation and Q&A, guests are encouraged to connect with one another in an effort to create inspirational dialogue around ideas for future social good advancements in our society - with the help of an open bar.

Thibault Verbiest is a senior legal expert who has negotiated at the highest levels of government to catalyse policy and legislative changes. He is currently blockchain expert to the World Bank, an ICO advisor, and the founder of Cryptobooks.club, the first publishing platform built on Ether and ERC20.

In her upcoming book, Mouna Mahouachi describes decentralization and some of its most powerful applications through 10 financial and economic models that can be applied to current society. Sourcing these models from traditional societies--where people had to organize and support each other in order to build their communities--the book will present these models as potential solutions to create economic empowerment and financial stability, to stimulate creativity and innovation, and to decrease inequalities.
