Friday the 13th at Crystal Lake

The Crystal Lake Park District is hosting a Friday the 13th themed event at the main beach this June. There will be a variety of activities, in addition to the movie being shown. The activities include Bowling with Severed Heads, Human Foosball, Slingshot Shanty, Horror Makeup Artists, and Photo Ops. There will be food trucks there and a beer garden.

I went to this thing the last time we had the 13th fall on a Friday during the summer, and it was fun. The actual event spans four hours, but we do not have to stay that long.
