CS-NYC will be starting off 2010 with the first in what we hope will be a lengthy series of discussions on topics near and dear to the hearts of Content Strategists.

This time we'll be tackling the thorny issue of revenue models for online content. Some potential avenues for discussion:

  • Does information really "want to be free"?
  • Will users pay for premium content?
  • Is the online advertising model the most feasible one for generating profit?
  • What are the ethical boundaries for content strategists in working with branded content?

Plus, whatever you feel like bringing to the table (or bar, as the case may be).
