[CS-NYC] Quick Update for August

From: Brian E. K.

A couple items to alert all of you about:

  1. Margot Bloomstein, who gave the very well received presentation "Content Strategy: What's In It For You" to CS-NYC last year, will be holding a virtual seminar next Thursday, August 11. In her words:

"I'll be sharing examples and guidance for incorporating curation into content strategy, and drawing on tips from a more traditional context: museum exhibit design and curating. We'll discuss the role of storytelling online, the necessity of personal perspective, and how good curation depends on both content and visual design."

There is a charge for attending the seminar, but CS-NYC folk can save $40 by using the promo code
MARGOT. More information can be found at

  2. Come hell or high water, we will be having a meetup later this month, even if the only item on the agenda is finding a good drink at a ridiculous price. If you're willing to present on any of the potential topics suggested by other members, please contact me. I'll be sending a save the date note about this time next week.

Until then...
