Malware analysis is risky business! Safety is a critical pillar of every part of the malware analysis methodology. Traditional malware analysis labs include locally provisioned virtual machines that act as safe zones for dynamic analysis, but this approach has several limitations. Can we move this entire process into the cloud? How can we use cloud assets to equip the malware analyst with rapid deployable, ephemeral assets for use during malware detonation? Are there security concerns when we use cloud assets for this purpose? Join Matt Kiely (HuskyHacks) as he covers the architecture, security, and benefits of rapid deployable cloud malware analysis lab infrastructure.
