Christine Young specializes in career coaching and human resources consulting. She has hired more than 5,000 people in the high-technology, medical device and pharmaceutical industries. This makes her a career strategist who applies her business knowledge and deep understanding of the talent acquisition process to the job search. Companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Sony Electronics, Johnson & Johnson, Intel and Silicon Valley start-ups have benefited from her career coaching, HR services and training programs.
Christine is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has been actively involved in multiple HR organizations in leadership positions. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and a B.A. in Sociology from Rutgers University.Physical Venue:

Change in venue: Due to the mountain lion research happening at several Open Space Preserves, including Rancho San Antonio, we will be meeting at the Peppertree Group Area of Vasona Lake Park in Los Gatos, CA.
Parking is on the opposite side of the gate on University Avenue at Peppertree Lane, or near the Charter Oaks entrance, but you'd have to walk a bit farther.A fun group of people who meet every Tuesday morning at Vasona Lake in Los Gatos (nearby 17) for an early morning networking hike. It’s a terrific way to keep fit and meet interesting people at the same time. This is a particularly good group for people who may be in career transition mode because of the group’s philosophy of mutual support, the power of networking and a group hike! We are finished by 8:30 am, so you can get on with your day and feel fantastic because you have had a great workout. We hope you can join us soon!

TOTAL LENGTH: 5.4 miles
ELEVATION GAIN: 350 feet
START TIME: 7:00 AM
FINISH TIME: 8:30 AM
DIFFICULTY: Easy to ModeratePlease consider your physical condition and make sure you are able to handle difficult-level hike of this length and altitude gain.

Starting from the intersection of University Ave and Pepper Tree Ln at the Peppertree Group Area, we head south by turning right towards the train tracks for the Billy Jones Wild Cat Railroad.
From there, we turn left down the bike path that follows along HWY 17 towards Main St in Los Gatos.
We cross the wooden bridge towards the Forbes Mill Museum at the Los Gatos Creek Trail.
We follow the dirt path and continue south towards the open area at the bast of St. Joseph's hill, where we'll pause for a quick break.
